Nicky Whelan was known as Pepper Steiger in Australia, which was her role on the soap opera Neighbors. The show was the host of 100 episodes from 2006 to 2007. In Hollywood, she was involved with two distinct projects. First as a part of Hollywood & Wine where she performed the role of a aspiring young actress. Then by landing a recurring part in the 9th season of Scrubs as Maya a very sexually attractive medical student. Then, the show is stopped. She then returns to the making of a comedy by the Farrelly brothers, called Good to Shoot, starring the tandem Jason Sudeikis / Owen Wilson Then appearances in series, short films and B series movies. 2013 was the year she managed to be more visible in projects including six episodes of the detective series Franklin and Bash, then she was offered her first role as a regular in the online series Chosen that is played in by Milo Ventimiglia. The first two seasons of the show she has also provided the solution for Chad Michael Murray. In the following year the actress was rewarded with supporting roles in two fantastic films based on airplanes: one was a television movie for the SyFy channel, Flight 7500: One Way Back which featured a number that included actors from TV series ; and the other is the action film Le Chaos, carried by Nicolas Cage.
