Allyson Felix

Allyson Nicole Felix was born November 18 the 18th of November, 1985, located in Los Angeles. Paul Felix, her father, was an ordained pastor in the Master's Seminary Sun Valley. Marlean Felix worked at Balboa Magnet school for children in the elementary grades. Felix discovered early that she had an aptitude in running while attending Los Angeles Baptist High School. She finished second in the U.S. Indoor Track and Field Championships after only 10 weeks, after the first time she tried out. Felix, who graduated high school in 2003 signed an agreement with Adidas. After that, she was accepted into an institution called the University of Southern California and studied elementary education. Felix was awarded her first Olympic medal at the 2004 Summer Olympics that took place in Athens Greece. Felix set the Junior World Record sprinting 200 meters in 22.18 seconds. She was the youngest world champion in the 200 meters at the Helsinki World Championships and defended her title in 2007 by beating her time-tested Jamaican competitor Veronica Campbell. Felix was consistently at the top of the podium throughout her races at the Olympics that took place at Beijing London Rio de Janeiro Tokyo.
