
Miller played the role of lead actor in Stephen's famed production of "Pippin" which ran on Broadway. Diane Paulus won the Tony Award at the 67th annual Tony Awards for Best Revival of a Musical. "Pippin" was a musical featuring Matthew James Thomas with Andrea Martin, Terrence Man, Matthew James Thomas as well as Terrence Man, was directed by Diane Paulus. Patina took on the role of Ben Vereen, an award-winning actor. She also mastered the movement of Fosse that is so essential to the musical. Patina received nominations for a Tony Award, an Outer Critics Circle Award and also a Broadway.com Audience Choice Award. In addition, she was awarded an Drama League Award as Best actress for of a Leading Role as well as an Outer Critics Circle Award as Outstanding Actress for a musical. In December 2012 through December 2012, she performed as The Leading Player of American Repertory Theatre's production of Pippin. Miller made her Broadway debut in the 2011 Broadway season as the gutsy nightclub-singer-turned-nun "Deloris Van Cartier" in the stage adaptation of "Sister Act", which earned her first Tony nomination, as well as Drama Desk, Drama League, and Outer Critics Circle Award nominations for her performance.
