Azita Ghanizada

Azita Ghanizada, an Afghan American actress in the United States who has appeared in a number of television series. She was born in Kabul Afghanistan her family fled her native country to the US and was granted the right to stay in the US as asylum seekers. She is the middle sister of two sisters, and was raised in Northern Virginia. Ghanizada started her camera career by being featured in a variety of National Commercials. Ghanizada's role on the Laura Neri 2004 film A Kiss on the Nose as Chiara was nominated for the Best Actress award at one of the film festival. She appeared as a guest star in several TV shows, such as How I Met Your Mother Veronica Mars Wedding Bells Num3RS Bones Psych and Castle. Recently, she had the role of a support actress in the science-fiction action film Blood Shot (2009) and the comedy series by independent filmmakers You Only Better (2009). In 2008 Ghanizada joined the cast of General Hospital. General Hospital prime-time spin-off General Hospital. as Dr. Saira Bhata, an expert in holistic health care during the show's second season. Ghanizada was cast as Kelly the Prada salesgirl on HBO Entourage. The year 2009 saw her joined the Tough Trade pilot from Weeds creator Jenji Cohan as well as executive producer T Bone Burnett.
