Azita Ghanizada

Azita Ghanizada, one of the Afghan American actress in the United States who has appeared in a number of television series. Her birthplace was in Kabul Afghanistan her family fled her home country for the US and received the right to stay in the US as asylum seekers. Her sister in law was raised within Northern Virginia. Ghanizada started her camera career by being featured in a variety of National Commercials. Ghanizada's role on the Laura Neri 2004 film A Kiss on the Nose as Chiara earned her a nomination for Best Actress at a festival. Her television guest-starring roles are How I Met Your Mother Entourage Veronica Mars The Wedding Bells NUMB3RS Bones Psych and Castle. The most recent role she has played is the role of a supporting character for the character of Blood Shot, (2009) which is based on the science-fiction film Blood Shot and independent comedy You Only Better (2009). Ghanizada made her debut in 2008 as a cast actor on General Hospital's premiertime spinoff General Hospital. Season 2 of Night Shift featured Ghanizada portray Dr. Saira Bhatra, a doctor who specializes in holistic medical practices. Ghanizada was cast as Kelly the Prada salesgirl on HBO Entourage.
