Azita Ghanizada. Ghanizada (born in Afghanistan) is an Afghan American Actress in the United States. She has been featured in numerous television series. Her birthplace was in Kabul Afghanistan her family fled her native country to the US and were granted refugee status to remain. She was raised in Northern Virginia and is the middle child from two siblings. Ghanizada's career in the air started with several National Commercials. Ghanizada starred as Chiara in Laura Neri film A Kiss on the Nose (2003). To commemorate the performance, she received a nomination in the festival's Cannes Film Festival, for Best Actress. The roles she played on television includes How I Met Your Mother Entourage Veronica Mars The Wedding Bells NUMB3RS Bones Psych and Castle. In recent times, she was in independent comedies You Only Better and Blood Shot 2009. She also appeared in the action thriller of science fiction Blood Shot. Ghanizada was first noticed in 2008 when she joined the team for General Hospital. She was cast in the General Hospital spin-off General Hospital. Season 2 of Night Shift saw Ghanizada as Doctor.
