Azita Ghanizada

Azita Ghanizada, an Afghan American actor in the United States has appeared in numerous television shows. She was born in Kabul Afghanistan her family fled their home country to the US and were granted refugee status to remain. She was raised by her two sisters and two sisters in Northern Virginia. Ghanizada began her career in the field of TV by appearing in a couple of National Commercials. Ghanizada was awarded an honorary award for the role as Chiara, who played the central character in Laura Neri's 2004 movie A Kiss on the Nose. Her television credits include How I Met Your Mother Entourage Veronica Mars NUMB3RS The Wedding Bells NUMB3RS Psych and Castle. She most recently had an supporting role in the science-fiction action movie Blood Shot (2009) and the comedy series by independent filmmakers You Only Better (2009). Ghanizada began her career in the General Hospital Prime-Time spinoff General Hospital. Season 2 of General Hospital Night Shift, she appeared as Dr. Saira Bhatra who is an holistic physician.
