Azita Ghanizada

Azita Ghanizada. Ghanizada (born in Afghanistan) is an Afghan American Actress in the United States. She has been featured in numerous television shows. Her birthplace was in Kabul, Afghan. Her parents left for the US which they received asylum. Her family raised her with two sisters in Northern Virginia. Ghanizada's on-air career began with a string of National Commercials. Ghanizada's appearance as Chiara in Laura Neri 2004 film A Kiss on the Nose as Chiara earned her a nomination for the Best Actress award at one of the film festival. She was also a guest star in several TV shows, such as How I Met Your Mother Veronica Mars Wedding Bells Num3RS Bones Psych & Castle. The most recent role she has played is an appearance as a character for the character of Blood Shot, (2009) inspired by the science-fiction film Blood Shot and independent comedy You Only Better (2009). Ghanizada made her debut in 2008 as a cast actor on General Hospital's primetime spinoff, General Hospital. Season 2 of Nightshift saw Ghanizada portray Dr. Saira Bhatra, a doctor who specializes in holistic medical practices. In 2009, Ghanizada appeared as Kelly as a Prada sales girl on HBO's Entourage and joined in the cast of the tv pilot Tough Trade from Weeds creator Jenji Kohan, as well as the executive producer T Bone Burnett.
