Azita Ghanizada

Azita Ghanizada is an Afghan American actress in the United States who has appeared in a number of television shows. She is an American actor from Afghanistan that was raised in Kabul Afghanistan. After fleeing her home country, her family moved to in the US. She was given asylum, and were allowed to remain. She was brought up to a young age in Northern Virginia and is the middle child of two sisters. Ghanizada began her career on television by being featured in National Commercials. Ghanizada was awarded an award for her performance of Chiara, the main character of Laura Neri's 2004 film A Kiss on the Nose. She appeared as an actor in a variety of television series, including How I Met Your Mother Veronica Mars Wedding Bells Num3RS Bones Psych and Castle. The most recent role she has played is the role of a supporting character on the show Blood Shot, (2009) - based on the science-fiction movie Blood Shot and independent comedy You Only Better (2009). Ghanizada was first noticed in 2008 when she joined the team for General Hospital. She was cast in the General Hospital spin-off General Hospital. In season 2 called Night Shift Ghanizada played the role of Dr. Saira Bhatra who is a holistic doctor. Ghanizada was cast as Kelly the Prada salesgirl in HBO Entourage.
