Valerie Anne Bertinelli (born April 14 70 years ago) is an American writer and actor. This two-time Golden Globe Award-winning actress became famous for her performances as Barbara on CBS's One Day at a Time and Melanie Moretti on Hot in Cleveland. As a teenager when she was in her teens, she started acting and eventually became a character actress. She was able to instil a passion in the world of entertainment, the Bertinelli chose to go into acting after an acquaintance she made when she was just being a kid. Bertinelli made her debut as a television host after completing her studies at the Tami Lynn School of Artists. In no time she was confident and her acting abilities helped her make a name for herself and become known as a well-known TV star. Also, she is known for experiencing a difficult personal life as well as her battle with addiction. However, she's persevered to gain her life back and become a successful person. It is through the publication of her New York Times best sellers that she has made her struggles during difficult times public. This multi-talented person is currently busy with her cooking competition Kids Baking Championship. The cute teen turned sex icon is also associated and a spokesperson of the Jenny Craig program.
