LeBron Raymone James Sr. Born on 30 December 1984 is a pro American basketball star. King James has been widely recognized as being one of history's most outstanding players in basketball. Michael Jordan is usually compared in discussions about who is the best player. James is the winner of four NBA Championships as well as the four NBA MVP Awards, Four NBA Finals MVP Awards and three All-Star MVP Awards. He also has two Olympic Gold Medals. James has the highest points in the playoffs with the second-highest number of points in his career and is the seventh player with the most career assists. He was named an NBA All-Star 18 times to the All-NBA Team a record 18 times, and was named to his place on the NBA All-Defensive First Team five times. James has played in the ten NBA Finals the third most of all time, with eight games in succession between 2011 and the year 2018. In 2021 James was selected to be part of the NBA 75th Anniversary Team, and in 2022 became the first player in NBA history to score at least 10,000 career points as well as assists and rebounds. James played basketball at St. Vincent St. Mary High School in Akron, Ohio. The school was recognized by media across the nation as the next NBA superstar. A prep-to-pro, he was selected by the Cleveland Cavaliers with the first overall pick in the 2003 NBA draft. Being the NBA rookie player of 2004, he established his name quickly as one the top players in the league, receiving the NBA MVP award for the 2009 and 2010 seasons. James, who was unable to win the championship in Cleveland in 2010, was released as a free agent and signed with in the Miami Heat. This was disclosed in The Decision. It is one of the most controversial choices made by a free agent in sports history.
